First night
This was the first night in the US. We stayed in a best western hotel near the airport in LA. It was very noisy because of the airplanes and the traffic on the freeway.

Abflug – Takeoff
Now we start our first trip to the US. I am sure this will be 3 interesting weeks.
Great! Free Wifi in a height of 10.000 metres. Food and drinks for free. We enjoy our flight with Lufthansa. The plane is an airbus 340-600. Much space and quite silent.
Each seat equipped with an entertainment system. Unbelievable.
We are looking forward to see our oldest daughter and celebrate her birthday together with her host family.
Update: After the nice flight we had to wait for hours at the passport check and the car rental. But it was worth it – we have really nice and big car for our round trip.
